Meet Liz Richards

In my little world, books are life.

That feeling started when I was young. By middle school, I’d met Harper Lee, Edgar Allen Poe, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and many others. It was at that point I knew someday I’d work with stories.

Since entering the media space, I’ve worked in corporate publishing and as a freelancer. I’ve appreciated the broad base of experience I’ve gained from various projects—writing for nonprofits, digital content development & copyediting, medical proofreading, ghostwriting, book editing, and more. Professionally, I pride myself on being precise, delivering excellence in transparency & communication, and staying attuned to the pulse of the nonfiction book market.

I’ve attained the Aces-Poynter Certificate of Editing and a certificate with the International Fact-Checking Network. I’m an Authority Member of the Nonfiction Authors Association. I am passionate about learning and receiving ongoing education to continue to bring value to the writing and publishing community.

“Liz takes the initiative to go above and beyond both personally and professionally.”
